Honoring those who have supported us.
Good morning BC! Can't tell you how great it is to be so close to home, familiar terrain, families and friends. Yesterday was an excruciating grind through the Rockies and the pass, followed by a quick break in Salmon Arm. This morning, Nel treated us to an awesome sendoff and we are making our way to Kamloops as we speak.
Each rider will be taking a 1 hour shift this morning into Kamloops followed by 1/2 hr shifts up the mighty Coqu. Again, today's climb (at the end of 9 days riding) will test the remainder of our resilliance.
There's only one critical piece of information today and that's the meeting times & locations for tomorrow's ride in (which if you live in Vancouver), there's really NO REASON not to attend. This information is below. If you have any questions or concerns, Kris is your man to call 604 614 9857
Print this off, Pass it on, Makes sure you are there to celebrate this momentus homecoming with us, because without many of you waiting, supporting and encouraging - this journey would be much more difficult.

Hello H2V!!!
I don't know what I will look forward to after tomorrow! Following your amazing journey has been so emotional and inspiring for us. Well, okay - the emotional part is mostly me...We will be at English Bay tomorrow and we will have beer (import?)for the mechanics and hugs and immense gratitude for you.
Until tomorrow!

Not since Terry Fox and his amazing run, have I seen as many people believe in the beauty of a dream - your dream .
The future belongs to all of you, and everyone touched by this disease - because of all of you out there, the riders, the support team, the mechanics - the dreams of many children's futures, will be so much better than the history of their past... Bring it home!!!!
Laila Yuile
Incredible feat! We will be there when you arrive in Kamloops to support you and all you are doing for the kids like my nephew Nick.
Wishing you all the safest of rides through the Coq and into the valley. Cops for cancer rides the tour de valley this weekend too!
Prayers and blessings.
Bring it home boys !
What a ride... Congrats and Thank You.

We are all going to recognize each other as we head for the bay tomorrow...we'll all be crying. The emotions are now spilling out all over the place!!
And what this caravan has done is nothing short of historic. And a generous thank you to Laila for your beautiful way with words. They have been saved.
See you all soon and sooner,
Leslie
I just wish I had known about this last Friday when you set out from NS. I only found out about all of this yesterday when you passed through Calgary -- and you're almost in Merritt -- talk about good VO2!!!! And uphill for most of the journey back home. You must all be utterly exhausted.
After learning what you guys have set out to accomplish, I have been stirred to the very depths of my soul. I'm so very, very proud of you all, and you have inspired me in ways you cannot possibly imagine ... but then again, maybe you can ;)
However, this is really all about Juvenile Diabetes and raising money for a cure, so I'm not just going to "talk the talk", I'm actually going to donate online. Hopefully, by the time you get to Vancouver, you will have raised $1 million.
I love you all. You're my heroes XOXO
Hey guys!
Didn't want you to think we'd stop following you. Man, you guys are rippin it up!!! Hopefully you'll get to rest a while before meeting up with the Peleton in Hope! I can't wait to meet up with all of you tomorrow - I am overwhelmed by this challenge you have taken on! Only 1 more sleep for us.....feel our energy and bring it home boys!!!

Team H2V -
Jana wrote this poem the day she started on her insulin pump (2 1/2 years ago)
My Pump - Jana age 8
I used to be very scared but now I wear it proud,
Now that I have it on, I will be noticed in a crowd.
What I have on right now is called an insulin pump,
It doesn't hurt to have it on, not more than a little bump.
There are lots of others just like me, I am not alone,
To people that don't have one, it may look like a small cellphone.
With the help of a few buttons, the job is done with a little beeeeep,
If you're afraid of needles, my sites may give you the creeps.
Now that I have it on, I can shout "I'm healthy" out loud,
I wear an insulin pump, and I am very proud.
Dustin and are at Costco in Poco. We expect to hook up 11-ish. If your thinking of joining in the ride - go for it!
