Is anybody else out there tearing up when you read the bloggs? I seem to be blinking a lot more than usual.
This human endeavor of yours has literally gripped the nation and has brought more exposure to the disease than anything before it. That momentum should be sustained….an annual province to province, city to city or a 10 km around Stanley Park on mountain bikes for the older folk. Perhaps JDRF could employ an executive fundraiser to organize the yearly event…Kyle, Matt? Something to noodle on during one of your 3:00 AM rides!
Great to hear your voice yesterday Richard…Vic and I send you our love.
Kyle, if I could do it over again, I’d try to be a Dad like you…you rock!

Kyle and Taylor you are both incredible. I have been watching your journey closely and your blog. Taylor very nice 'letters from the road' on the ACCU-CHECK Website.

Kyle, I know the burn that you are describing on your legs but just keep going. Know that you have a HUGE contingent of supporters cheering you on across the country sending you energy to wisk you across the prairies, hills and mountains into Vancouver. You are doing double duty meeting each JDRF chapter along the way with Taylor however you are helping to fulfill your promise. I hope that a portion of this ride becomes an annual fundraising opportunity in communities across Canada for JDRF and that you can stand proud and know that the Team and you started it all with an idea that you made happen. Even better will be the knowledge that when they find a cure that the H2V Team, Taylor and yourself had a big part in making it happen sooner by raising much needed funds for the research.

Keith the run groups last night are following you closely on the North Shore Athletics GPS system. There is a big map in the store with dots on - showing where you are; It’s low tech but doesn’t seem to be suffering the technology glitches of the webcam.

Willie I guess this means you are going to miss this Wednesday nights John Henry Bike Club ride. Just make sure you continue raising money for JDRF and we will give you a bye. Keep peddling.

Somebody please send us (post) your route information of what roads you are coming on into Vancouver and English Bay. Lots of people want to be out to cheer you in at any hour from way out, but we need to know EXACTLY the roads you will be on from Hope to home. See you Saturday.

95.3 was singing your praises this morning, team. Your pace is absolutely astounding. The momentum you've got going now, literally and figuratively, can only snowball. Your arrival home will be phenomenal. Keep the pics coming. It's great to see you all smiling. Richard, get in a few.

Hi everyone!!

Can't believe how far you are in your ride so far....you are all doing great and we are all still cheering you on. Just a few thoughts as we are all cheering you on....Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything. Thumbs up to everyone on a job well done!!

Hi guys and Taylor
Congratulations on the fast pace. I hope you're having a great time riding across the country. It is amazing how fast you guys are going, as this is only the fifth day and you are almost in Alberta. Wow. You are inspiring so many people.

To Taylor: Mickey is great, although I'm sure he misses you a lot. He was fantastic at the event, and we won first placed team with two of my friends. He was amazing. I hope you're having a fun time, and it certainly seems like you are. See you soon!
Diana.

Hi guys,
I'm getting sleepy here in Halifax - just checked your gps track and see that you just crossed the border into Alberta. It must feel great to cross that border and know that there's just one more until you're back in your home province.
Hope you're managing to get some good rest between rides and that you're enjoying some of the scenery along the way.
It's great to see the photos and read the blogs. I agree with Judy that Richard needs to get into a few of the photos!
take good care of yourselves and each other

You guys are awesome. We brought Megan to meet you guys here in Winnipeg and she said it was a great day indeed meeting all of you. You have all given us hope and raised the benchmark for fundraising along with giving my 10 year old daughter more hope than she has had since dx three years, 6 months and 3 days ago.

If you ever need a volunteer to help out for something this big ever again please let us know and I will be there.

Thankyou from Winnipeg

Your H2V commitment is not even close to inspiring, it's the epitomy.

Bring it home fellas!!

We in Salmon Arm are in awe of your journey and can't wait to support and cheer you on as you pass through. I have a 14 year old son with Type 1. He has his birthday as you ride through & he will be allowed to miss classes! Classes at the elementary school where I teach are following your journey as a lesson in courage and following your dreams. How appropriate you go through our town as our school holds their annual Terry Fox run.

Hello to my big little brother and the H2V gang from London - you guys are scorching across the huge country of Canada fast than I could take planes, trains and automobiles!

People ask me about my brother, I say the same thing "Richard? He is an exceptional person". I extend this to the entire team of Kyle, Keith, Willy, Matt and Brian. I'm so proud to be Richard's sister and I'm so proud of being able to tell everyone I know what you are doing to support Juvenile Diabetes. Amazing.

Uh..I booked back from London Sat to make the Sunday ride-in, clearly I didn't realize how much faster (by over a day) you were going to be! Wrapping meetings and will fly myself if I have to, try to get there for your big ride-in and celebration.

Xoxo
